Stephanie Sides &
Geoffrey
Their Story:
Stephanie & Geoffrey were married
on May 3, 2008.
How They Met: Stephanie & Geoffrey have lived
and worked in various San Joaquin Valley towns (Tehachapi,
Bakersfield). They ultimately connected with the Central
Coast when they lived in SLO while Geoffrey was a student
at Cal Poly. Prior to moving to SLO, their paths first crossed
while camping at Lake Isabella with mutual friends, Cy and
Gloria. Gloria planted the seed of romance by daring Stephanie
to connect with Geoffrey. Well, that very day Geoff-anie
(Geoffrey/Stephanie) shared their first kiss and their relationship
quickly blossomed.
The Proposal: Almost exactly 5 years later, Geoffanie
vacationed in Kauai (this couple is always on a trip!).
While strolling on a beach, with soft hotel music reaching
them, Stephanie found herself swooped up in a romantic dance
on the sand. Moments later, romantic Geoffery dropped on
one knee with the formal proposal, to which Stephanie replied
... yes!

Their Wedding:
Photography:
Stephanie and Geoffrey selected the very talented Fitzpatrick
Studios (Melissa Fitzpatrick) as their wedding photographer.
While Fitzpatrick Studios is based in SLO county, Melissa is available
for travel just about anywhere for weddings!
Catering:
Giuseppe's
Cucina Italiana, with restaurants located in both Pismo
Beach and San Luis Obispo, was selected to cater the food and drinks
for the wedding reception.
Music:
The music was so beautiful, it could only be a harp! Beautiful music,
as well as the beauty of the fabulous harp itself, was provided
by Penny
Beavers, Harpist.
Ceremony & Reception Site:
This couple selected beautiful Eagle
Castle Winery for the site of their wedding. This venue
is located west of Highway 101 in Paso Robles.
Colors:
Geoffanie chose tiffany blue and chocolate brown as the colors for
the big day. They wanted a very clean and modern look. Simple, yet
classy and elegant with clean lines. Vendors loved the idea and
the wedding turned out beautiful.
Additional Services:
Other service/product providers were coordination by Jour Parfait,
microbrew by Firestone Brewery, cake by Albertsons,
invitations by Scott Johnson Printing, videography by Outspoken
Photography, and rings by Wickersham Jewelers.
Wedding Planning Help:
Geoffanie attended two bridal shows (Central
Coast Bride's show at the Madonna Inn and one in Bakersfield)
and read Central Coast Bride magazine. Using these research
tools, Stephanie shopped and chose the vendors to be used on her
big day.
